The Rev. Matthew Addington Called to St. Francis, Greensboro
The Rev. Matthew Addington, previously a transitional deacon at St. Mark's, Huntersville, has been called to be the assistant to the rector at St. Francis, Greensboro. September 20 is his first Sunday. Addington has served the St Mark's community and the Diocese for more than 10 years and is looking forward to this new chapter in his call. At St. Mark's, he served as the youth minister and director of Christian foundation. He is a recent graduate of the Church Divinity School of the Pacific, where he earned his M. Div.
We wish Addington and his family every blessing in this new call.
Everliving God, strengthen and sustain Matt, that with patience and understanding he may love and care for your people; and grant that together they may follow Jesus Christ, offering to you their gifts and talents; through him who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
