The Diocese Welcomes the Rev. Robert Travis to St. Mary's, High Point
The Diocese welcomes the Rev. Robert Travis as the new rector of St. Mary's, High Point. Prior to coming to North Carolina, Travis served as priest-in-charge of two independent parishes: Church of the Ascension, Wakefield, Rhode Island, and Chapel of St. John the Divine, Saunderstown, Rhode Island. He also served as the dean of the Narragansett Bay Deanery in the Episcopal Diocese of Rhode Island. Travis earned his M. Div. from School of Theology, University of the South, and his undergraduate degree from Columbia College.
We welcome Travis and his family to High Point!
Everliving God, strengthen and sustain Rob, that with patience and understanding he may love and care for your people; and grant that together they may follow Jesus Christ, offering to you their gifts and talents; through him who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
