3rd Annual Servant Leadership Awards- Hilton Executive Center - 6:30p.m.
A Community dinner award fundraiser saluting the benevolent efforts of individuals and organizations that have demonstrated valiant efforts to support the Optimist Park church, its outreach ministries, and the greater Charlotte Community as they serve the disadvantaged.  Servant Leadership Award recipients are community volunteer Sue Coonen,  after school program volunteer Anne Davant, Charlotte City Councilman the honorable Anthony Foxx, and HELP (Helping Empower Local People), a consortium of churches and individuals focused on training and organizing churches and communities.  Contact John Burton, Jr. (704) 605-5153 or e-mail the burtongrouppr@hotmail.com.
