How can you get involved?
Contact one of the members of the Global Missions Commission. Members can come to your church and speak or hold a workshop.
What can you do to help with Global Missions?
At Home: You can pray for the Bishops of Central America and for the missionaries, priest, and peoples. You can communicate by letter or email and by sharing information and learning about your brothers and sisters in Christ.
Overseas: Volunteers are needed to help with day care centers, churches, and programs for teenagers, and tree plantings. Donations of prayer books, bibles, and other church materials are needed. Building projects and Christian education programs are needed. Medical teams are needed.
What kind of help is available for planning?
Committee members and experienced mission trip leaders are available to help you plan and organize your trip. For each country we have local leaders who are available to lead, guide and direct your efforts.
What do you gain from participating in a mission project?
You get to be the hands and feet of Christ here on earth. While making life-long friendships you will gain an appreciation for the peoples of Central America and the Caribbean as well as other areas where you do mission work.
Can individuals go or must you go with a group?
You can go on your own or as a part of a group. You can also join another church or cluster in their efforts.
