The Chartered Committee for Global Missions serves as an umbrella committee to foster and develop foreign mission programs and projects.
One active sub-committee is our companion diocese committee which now has a relationship with Costa Rica; other active committees work with Haiti and Honduras.
All of these committees meet regularly to coordinate and plan the Charter Committee on Global Missions' activities.

Purpose of the Charter Committee on Global Missions
- Promote foreign mission activities.
- Encourage church groups to take mission trips.
- Provide expertise and information to groups and individuals.
- Further the goals of our Diocese as a Missionary Diocese.
- Encourage Parish to Parish relationships between churches in North Carolina and foreign countries.
