On Saturday, January 23, the Annual Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina adjourned. See below for information and convention happenings.
Resolutions There were 18 resolutions brought before the 194th Convention for consideration, one of which was rejected (Resolution 11). Click here to for detailed look at all of the resolutions. Stop Hunger Now: Convention Comes Together to Package 100,500 Meals!
Thanks to many hands and human sweat, the goal of reaching 100,000 meals for Stop Hunger Now was achieved! Even better, the convention surpassed the goal and packaged 100,500 meals! Many thanks to the youth, clergy, delegates, and guests who participated, and a special thanks to those from Stop Hunger Now who assisted and Beth Crow and Lisa Aycock for coordinating the event.
