Crafts for ERD Booth

Additional Information:

A fundraiser to benefit NetsforLife Campaign will take place at the Episcopal Relief and Development Booth at Convention in January.  Donate a work of art or handmade craft to help make a difference in the preventable disease of malaria.

Donated items must include artist’s name and contact information.

  • Items must be portable and handmade
  • Quality is important
  • Examples: knitted or crocheted items, pottery, hand (or machine) sewn items, quality crafts, matted or framed art photographs or prints, small wooden items, paintings, woven items.
  • Price the items and bring them to Convention, or send with someone who is attending.
  • Unsold items are returned to donors who pick them up at the end of Convention. All items not claimed by the end of Convention will be retained by ERD and used for future fund raisers for ERD and UTO (or ECW) Outreach.
  • Artists may receive an in kind donation receipt.

Everyone at convention is encouraged to visit ERD’s booth and purchase the offered arts and crafts.

Contact Reid Joyner, Diocesan Coordinator of Episcopal Relief and Development, at (704) 554.6359 or erd-nc@hotmail.com, or Kathy Gregg at (704) 942.7542 by December 15 to verify participation. Those who do not make crafts or art may add their prayers to the effort. Let us focus on Romans 12:13.  “Share your belongings with your needy fellow Christians, and open your homes to strangers.”
